Diary Entry #2

For one part of our video we decided for the character gain a costumed enemy. Our initial thoughts were for the enemy to be a man dressed up in a panda costume handing our "save the panda" leaflets in which the main character would push him aside as he was in a rush and things would just escalate making this costumed man the main characters enemy. I really liked the panda idea but as i looked up costumes to hire the good ones were out of our price range so i thought it would be better to think of something else for this enemy to be dressed up as. When we were planning the video the idea for the beginning was for the main character to wake up with a hangover shown by the empty beer bottles surrounding his alarm. Then i realised that one fancy dress part i attended last year, one of my friends was dressed as a beer bottle and he still had the costume. Therefore we decided that would be a good costume for our enemy to dress up as because when our main character pushes him aside it doesn't only mean he's in a rush but it will show that he doesn't want to see anything to do with alcohol again which will come of as quite funny, something we are aiming for.
